The Staff and Doctors from Falmouth Dental Associates have been
traveling to Honduras since 1990, we worked with Cape CARES
(Central American Relief Efforts) and in 1999 joined efforts with
Brigham and Women's Hospital Medical Mission to Honduras called
PROMESA. We provide dental care, tooth brushes, fluoride
treatments and education. We see an average of two to three
hundred patients per village. Our goal is to implement a
dental preventive program and provide three locations with dental
units and supplies.
Each volunteer makes a donation
of $950.00 to cover the travel cost and part of the expense of
running the Brigade. Whether you are a dentist or assistant
interested in joining one of our Brigades, or an individual or
organization willing to donate funds or supplies, you can make a
difference and help us help others. All donations are tax
deductible. Donations can be sent to our office or PROMESA-Brigham
and Women's Hospital, 20 Kent Street, Brookline MA 02445.
